Hi, I'm Esther! Part time writer and a student of comparative literature. I have ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, BPD and cPTSD. I'm also biexual, agender and exploring the world of polyamory.
I grew up in a deeply religious South Indian Christian household, which, let’s just say, didn’t exactly make space for questioning anything (especially not my own identity). Three years ago, I started the messy and beautiful process of deconstructing everything I was taught to believe, which brought me where I currently stand— spiritual and agnostic.
Being a queer, neurodivergent person in Indian academia has been a journey— a marathon, with hurdles, no water stations, and a few existential crises thrown in. And while the country barely acknowledges let alone provides support for hidden disabilities, I’m here, learning how to thrive in spite of it.
I write to vent and share my stories with the world in hopes that they resonate with and make the othered feel less alone (and also because I have a LOT of them).
